Are you anxious to take down your tree now that the holidays are over? Take advantage of the City of Chicago's Holiday Tree Recycling Program. Beginning Friday, January 1 to January 17, various locations around the city will be accepting trees to be chipped and turned into garden mulch.
Free mulch will be available to residents for pick up beginning Friday, January 8 until January 17. Here is a list of locations to drop off your tree.
