The Vintage Bazaar is returning to its original location at the DANK Haus in Lincoln Square for a two-day event promising "vintage oddments, collectibles and more for every pocketbook".
The 35-vendor market is the creation of Katherine Raz, (the proprietor of BackGarage.com: a vintage home decor studio) and Libby Alexander (a freelance writer from Andersonville). The Vintage Bazaar pops up regularly in vacant storefronts and other unique venues around Chicago.
This weekend's market will feature more than a dozen new vendors showcasing vintage home goods, decor, furniture, housewares, clothing, jewelry, and accessories for the first time. Chicago indie radio station CHIRP will provide DJ entertainment. Food vendors, cocktails and beer will also be available. Shopper admission is $5 for adults, kids are free. Small strollers are welcome. Hours are: Saturday from 12 to 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
